Breath Metabolic analysis

Fit & healthy with uVida! Find out how you can optimize your metabolism with uVida's breath metabolic analysis.

uVida's Breath Metabolic analysis answers all your questions and includes the following analyses:

Activity analysis

Food analysis

Stress analysis

In addition to the analysis values and the assessment of the metabolism, the respiratory values provide the basis for a nutrition plan including recipes, which is individually tailored to the metabolism and the goal.

Food analysis

Description

Within a few minutes, sensors determine the ratio of oxygen ingested to the carbon dioxide concentration exhaled. The resting metabolic state of the body is determined. Both the amount of calories burned and the distribution of nutrients can be precisely determined via the respiratory gases.

This allows you to recognize the current state of your metabolism!

Values from the Food Analysis

  • Basal metabolic rate -Identification of possible nutritional and muscular deficits + basis for nutritional support.

  • Power turnover - consisting of work turnover + sporting activities.

  • Total caloric requirement -Direct comparison of whether your customer is consuming too much or too little kcal.

  • Fat metabolism in percent - shows you whether your customer is already following a healthy lifestyle (stress, training, diet).

  • Carbohydrate metabolism in percent - Mirror whether your customer is under too much stress, training too intensively or eating the wrong food.

  • Metabolic flexibility - Indicator of how quickly a change can take place with the customer.

Results & Benefits

Once the analysis has been carried out, the processed metabolic data is sent to the uVida app in real-time and the user receives information about the state of their metabolism as well as a personalized nutrition strategy.

  • The user receives the analysis values, an assessment of the metabolism and recommendations in the form of a specific nutrition plan with suitable recipes.

  • Also available as PDF

  • Nutrition plan customizable by trainers on request

Activity analysis

These breathing and heart rate values provide the perfect basis for a training plan that is individually tailored to your metabolism, performance level, heart rate zones and goal.

Description

With uVida Activity, a step test can be completed in approx. 20 to 30 minutes with measurement of respiratory gases to determine exactly in which pulse ranges training makes sense and how you can achieve your fitness and health goals in a healthy and sustainable way.

This is the scientific method according to the gold standard to create individual plans for exercise, endurance and activities.

  • Pulse ranges - for optimal and individual endurance training support (targeted GA1 training helps us to boost a person's fat metabolism, for example).

  • IAAS - The individual anaerobic threshold represents the transition between fat and carbohydrate metabolism. This is important for the efficient achievement of all goals, from losing weight to freedom from pain and improved performance.

  • FATmax - This is the value of the maximum fat metabolism, which immediately brings with it a very high saturation of oxygen.

  • VO2 max - maximum oxygen uptake capacity during physical exertion (interesting for long Covid care, among other things).

  • Regeneration - How quickly your customer can recover after exercise tells us a lot about whether the person has been training efficiently or not.

  • Max. Capacity - Indication of the maximum power in watts or km/h (pace) and the maximum heart rate.

  • VT1 + VT2 - Ventilation thresholds for people who are specifically dedicated to endurance sports (triathlon, (half) marathon, etc.).

Stress Level Analysis

Stress Level Analysis

The HRV and breathing values provide insights into the stress level. These are incorporated into the training and nutrition planning so that uVida delivers an overall concept that is perfectly tailored to your physical condition.

Description

For the stress analysis, both the stress-relevant respiratory parameters and the heart rate variability values (HRV) are analyzed.

The evaluation takes place automatically.
